The Care Fiji Commitment is a destination-wide assurance that Fiji is ready to welcome back travellers to its shores in a post COVID-19 world.
It is a program developed to restore and increase consumer and trade confidence in travelling to Fiji.
It builds on the success of Fiji’s containment of the virus and gives industry the tools they need to operate safely and aligned with the Government’s COVID-19 Safe Guidelines.
The program’s vision is that the Care Fiji Commitment is visible to travellers pre and during their visit to give them absolute confidence that Fiji is ready to welcome back visitors.
Fiji’s COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
All businesses must commit to adopting the Fijian Government COVID-19 Safe Guidelines to the most practical extend possible.
The Guiding principles outlined in the Guidelines are:
- Maintain physical distancing of 1.5 metres.
- Appropriate use of face coverings.
- Ensure personal hygiene at all times.
- Screening and management of persons with symptoms.
- Enhance surface sanitisation.
- Maintain contact tracing information.
